Puddle Jump

Flying from Juneau to Gustavus in early January. I don't know the make/model of the plane (anyone that knows please comment), but all our small planes here look to be going on 50 years old. They've all been upgraded with the GPS that now makes those surprise-clouds navigable.

that would be DeHavilland Beaver you're riding in.

the big one we took from Ketch to Hydaburg was the Otter.

Actually I just looked into it and this particular plane that Chuck flies is a Cessna 206, fixed landing gear, originally produced in 1962 (!). But yea, the ones out of KTN were Beaver/Otter and most of 'em with floats.

ahso!

cool that you got to ride in something else ; )

nothing like flying around in a Subaru with wings.

from the site : "each passenger has their own window seat"

no doubt, that.
